Above are the violations just recently charged to Mark Georgantas.
The founder of Fire on Ice!
Below you will see his court dates. Send the Orange County California
DA your opinion on why they keep letting him out of jail. I can only guess it
is because of job security.
Below you will see his bail amount and as you can see
$500,000.00 must mean you’re not a nice person!
We don’t post this information for competitive reasons. We
post it because we are tired of hearing people getting ripped off or just plain
cheated. Competition very healthy for any business as it makes you try harder and
be more creative to the public. But from what I have seen and heard of in the
last few years, I am just feed up with this guys antics! He has over
$700.000.00 to pay in restitution just to the State of California Restitution
Board! These people will never see their money and that is very sad.
Here
are 6 PDF files for your reading from the Orange County DA's office on The
Creator of Fire on Ice. If your going to print these files your going to need
more paper. This is a must read!

CSLB Contractors State License Board recommends that you should check the following items before purchasing:
Is the contractor properly licensed? In California, anyone who contracts to perform work that is valued at $500 or more for materials and labor must hold a current, valid license from the Contractors State License Board in the specialty for which he or she is contracting.
Unlicensed contractors pose a risk to your financial security because they expose you to significant financial harm in the event of injury or property damage. Few unlicensed contractors have bonding or workers' compensation insurance.
If you contract with someone who does not have a license, the Contractors Board may not be able to assist you with a resolution to a complaint, and a remedy against an unlicensed contractor may be available only in civil court. This is one more good reason to work only with licensed contractors! Another consideration is that unlicensed contractors may not have the expertise and qualifications to do the job right the first time. You could end up having to hire a licensed, reputable contractor to correct the work-and paying for the job twice.
Ask to see the contractor's pocket license and some additional form of identification. The name on the pocket license should be the same as the name of the contractor or business name the contractor is working under.
It is illegal for one contractor to use another contractor's license, just as it is illegal for someone to use another person's driver's license.
When you establish that the contractor's or company's name matches what appears on the pocket license issued by the Contractors State License Board, and before you sign anything, check the CSLB Web site, www.cslb.ca.gov, or call (800) 321-CSLB, to find out if the license is valid. The contractor's license status page will also help you verify the contractor's business address, describe the kind of work that the contractor can perform, if any legal action has been taken against the contractor's license, and if the contractor is properly bonded and insured.
Legal action history information is available on the Web site www.cslb.ca.gov or from the CSLB Northern or Southern Regional Legal Action Disclosure telephone numbers. The Northern California number is (916) 255-4041. Southern Region can be reached at (562) 345-7656.
Complaint information about a licensee is disclosed after the complaint has been fully investigated and has been referred for legal action. Complaints involving probable violations that will likely result in legal action referral are also disclosed. (See flow chart describing the CSLB's complaint handling process.)
We at Moderustic Inc. are proud of what we have created and what we have to offer. But since the invent of Aquatic Glassel we have spawned dozens of copycat and look alike products. We have found that most of these companies are fly by night, no contractors license, no insurance, no worker compensation insurance, no physical address, work from cell phones, don’t hold a state resale license for collecting tax, no business license, they work from their trucks and if something were to happen you would be left holding the bag!
Call your insurance company and ask them what would happen in the event of a problem if you were to hire a n unlicensed individual.
Our company and mission statement:
- To give the customer the best value for the dollar.
- To save the customer as much as we can.
- What we would tell you today is what we would tell you in 5 years. (Lies have short legs).
- We strive on new and innovative processes and products for the consumer.
We have been producing Aquatic Glassel for a few years now but until recently we have started producing Aquatic Glassel for the Fireplace and Hearth Industry with great response and excitement. Aquatic Glassel was originally produced for the Decorative and Aquarium Industry. We have developed a new process for polishing glass to any degree we desire and you will be informed of any and all developments.
Our newest line of products is Aquatic Glassel Toppings and Toppers for fireplaces which is available to see the new colors on-line at www.Moderustic.com, www.AquaticGlassel.com, for our web store.
Sample pictures will be available in the near future of what Toppings and Toppers are all about. Our process is in Patent Pending at this time and patent publication will be available on request in the near future. This
fire pit was sent to us to convert to a propane burner and we found
broken bottle glass in the fire pit. You be the judge. Please look at
out Toppers and Toppings page
and you will see we don't use trash glass, really! We are updating
most if not all of our pictures of our products to show you what you
are getting. There will be no surprises when you purchase our glass.
Remember you get what you pay for and Imitation is the highest form of flattery! These companies must be in love with us! This is not our glass! This is what we call recycled glass, trash!
The fire pit below
has had a few problems with soot but we were able to fix it's issues.
Propane can be a problem if you don't pay attention. You don't need
money as it cost nothing to pay attention! You
will pay if you don't get the correct burner, if you don't burn the
glass to bad it can be cleaned. There are a few rules when you are
burning propane and you must follow them or your pictures will be here
as well.
It doesn't start too bad.

In a few hours it goes from bad to worst!
We can fix any problem or issue provided you are willing.
