As you can see, you can operate the RV Fire Pits with the doors open and the awnings out. No more smoke, ashes or popping embers! Above you can see the RV Fire pit on the carpet with out ant worry about excessive heat as there are thermally protected. Below you can see the portable propane tank connected with a quick disconnect and these come as long as 15 feet. Or you can connect directly to your own supply. This is one of our newest product releases, Portable Propane RV Fire Pits. These are 18" x 18" x 6 1/2" tall. These are all steel construction with a 3" fire pit pan and a 3 1/2" base and painted black. We can paint these any color as long as it is black. Not really, we can paint it with any of or 25 colors on our fireplace paint page . We do use a 1200 degree fireplace paint. We can manufacture these in any material in any size or shape. The 18" x 18" use about 10 lbs of filler which you can get locally and 25 lbs of glass for a 1 1/2" cover over your filler. The 18" x 18" propane fire pits are 235.00 retail plus the glass that you would choose. plus shipping. The 18" x 18" Stainless Steel propane fire pits are 385.00 retail plus the glass that you would choose. plus shipping. These are the first of a run of 100 in this size. We will post pictures of all if not most of the fire pits we will offer. We will try to post the custom fire pits as well in the near future. These will be great for camping or to take along in your trailer or motor home. Call or ask for details. These can be made in any material, copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum or ????. These can be used for table top models or we could even build a base for you in any size or shape. Here are a couple of pictures of the base. We will take a few pictures of the base to show you the actual base of the fire pit. The pictures below are of 2 propane RV fire pits that were installed in the top of a wall in the back yard by the pool for evening lighting. The 5 RV fire pits below are just after fabrication. They are 24" x 24" with a single 18" stainless steel rings installed. These can be made in any size or shape. The RV fire pit below is a standard 18 x 18 with a 12" stainless steel ring. The RV fire pit below was and is used by Rrivre Works in Los Angeles www.RrivreWorks.com . They are on of the premier event planners in Southern California. Check out their web site. They used our standard 14" x 14" RV fire pits and built tables around them with a frosted glass table top for the Linda Young Event in Newport Beach California. These can be made for natural gas or propane. The ones used were propane. We will be working with Rrivre on several up coming event and we will be posting a few over the top new products. We are told that we would need a certification if sand and or lava rock would need certification. The agencies are franchise operations and they are privately owned and they are not a government agency. These agencies are hired for mass production testing and AGA, CSA and or UL do not certify custom one of a kind projects. Custom burners need no certification as this only applies to production equipment. Just so you can understand that a certification costs about $15,000.00 and certification was developed for production/ mass production to assure quality. Any parts that would normally need AGA or UL do in fact have these approvals. Parts with function need and should have some sort of approval. The pan burners we sell that do have UL, CSA and or any other listings are produced by other companies. The custom pan burners that we produce are just that, custom. Therefore do not require UL, CSA and or any other agency listings as these are custom. The parts that we use to build these pans are UL, CSA listed as they should be. We would never use any “Third World Country” or any unlisted, untested parts to build any products and or parts to endanger any product performance what so ever. Here are several shots of some different variations of our RV Fire Pits. The come in standard sizes of 14", 16", 18" and 24". In stainless steel or steel painted in a choice of 25 colors! They are also being made available is a 20" round pan in stainless, steel painted or aluminum! The square pans can have special lids/ covers made that are 3" to 6" tall which can be used as a base to set the fire pit on if you don't want it setting on the ground. We will post pictures of these in a few weeks or as soon as we can, time permitting. The pictures that were taken were with the company Motor Home (Tiffen Pheaton Bus)(one odf a kind). The RV Fire Pits were developed for us to take camping. Necessity is the mother of invention! Above and below is our 24" stainless steel RV Fire Pit with Azurlite. Above we are burning at 80,000 btu's Below we are burning at 100,000 btu's All of the RV Fire Pits we build we build with 100,000 btu capability but we recommend not to burn that high. These are sitting on the typical plastic carpets used for motor homes and the bottoms don't get hot enough to melt the carpet. We recommend using a portable 20 lb tank but you can tap into your coaches supply if you would like. We always take at least 2 extra tanks along so we don't have to drain the coaches supply. Quick disconnect hoses come in 10'. 12' and even 15' lengths. You can even attach them together. All through out the pictures you can see the propane tank close to the RV Fire Pit. We did this intentionally. You can use as long of a quick disconnect hose as you would like. We also stock this in all sizes. Below you can see it is easy storage. Below you can see our 18" steel RV Fire Pit. Above and below is our 24" stainless steel RV Fire Pit. Below David is putting the 18" pit away. With glass the 18" pit weighs about 35 lbs. The advantages with these RV Fire Pits is that you don't have your coach or trailer filled with smoke any more! You can sit right outside of your door under your cover of your coach or trailer. One tremendous advantage we found is that when you are under any cover by at least 5' to 6' you create an inversion and you actually deflect the rising heat to travel sideways. No more smoke, soot or even ashes to clean up, ever! These are considered recreational fires by any state fire code and are not considered open flames. Just the same a s a propane BBQ. Now you can have your cake and eat it too! Here is our 18" Stainless Steel RV Fire Pit. Attached is a 15' quick disconnect hose. These will be available in 14", 16" and 18". Painted steel in 25 colors! Brushed Aluminum. Brushed Stainless Steel. We will producing several RV Fire Pits in the round series as well. We will be producing metal covers for transportation in 3" and in 6" tall which work as a base to elevate your fire pit. We will post more pictures or the next generation RV Fire Pits as soon as they become available! Propane Burner Issues I have seen this scenario all too often. The supplier that you have purchased from only cared about making the sale of the glass. They did not ask what you were doing. How you were doing it. What you were working on, etc. etc. etc. They did not ask if you had propane or natural gas or if you had natural gas close by to use opposed to propane. You are now finding out that there is no customer support after the sale. We are the only manufacture building one propane burner at a time to suit your needs. We care from beginning to end and more importantly after the fact! We offer customer support FOREVER! Let me tell you how we feel about these other companies selling products they know nothing about: You purchased a Ford and now you are going to the Chevrolet dealer for advice and parts on how to fix the problems. That is not how it works. You need you to put pressure on the company that sold you the product that does not perform as you thought it should. We will and or can resolve your issues, but you need to make sure these companies stop selling products they know nothing about. Have you contacted the company that you purchased from? Have you received any advice from this company on how to resolve the issue? Are they even concerned about your problems? Did you disclose to this company what you were working on? Did this company ask for details about your project? Have you asked if you can return all of the parts and products because of product failure? Does this company even have any information online about their success on propane burners? Did you receive any customer support? Does the company you purchased from even have a physical address where you can visit? We do genuinely feel bad for the customer being taken advantage of by companies such as these, selling parts and supplies, which they know nothing about. Please keep us posted on your developments so we may continue to remedy your situation. November 10, 2009 Hello Ed, my name is Jai Crandall and I live in central NY. I have a good friend (Tom Morgan) that has a patio that he generally uses wood to throw some heat for his quests when he entertains. Unfortunately, as I'm sure you know, the smoke can really get to you after a while. This is a very high end home and he entertains for some very important people. He would like to eliminate the wood a replace them with some propane inserts. It doesn't have to look like a fireplace, but most importantly, it needs to throw some intense heat. Pictures 1,2 and 3 are the front views of the fire pits and as you will notice they are not square ( each picture is labeled with the dimensions), they don't need to stay like they are, so if you want to make them square you can. Just go by the front measurement. Hopefully you can design something that will fit there needs. I am sure that they are going to want electric ignition, and you can try to place the control valves in the front. Also, with the good New York weather, you want want to have covers for each unit.
