Q: Is the glass sharp?

Answer: No. The special processing (patent pending process) allows the glass to be and feel smooth with rounded edges. There is a special process involved thereafter to assure the glass is safe and not sharp at all. One can literally pick up and squeeze the glass pieces without risk of cuts or glass slivers. However, like all glass products, one can degrade and sharpen this product by dropping or misusing the glass. Our glass is not to be confused with other overly prices sharp shards of look-a-like knock offs. Please use common sense.

Q: Are there any odors from the glass?

Answer: No. The glass is clean and does not degrade nor generate any malodorous nor odiferous fumes from Aquatic Glassel products.

Q: Does your product produce any bi-products?

Answer: No. None. The product is resistant to natural gas flames and natural gas burns relatively clean. Unless Beauty or Cool are products.

Q: Do I need to leave the flue open when in use?

Answer: Yes. We suggest at anytime one burns any product within one’s home there is ample ventilation. Although some persons may argue opening the chimney flue is not necessary, we suggest you always leave your flue open when your fireplace is in use.

Q: Is your product safe around children?

Answer: Like any household product, toy, or furnishing one must consider safety measures at all times. Although a fireplace screen is optional for Aquatic Glassel product attributes, we STRONGLY urge you to consider fireplace screens as preventative measures for safety of your children’s curiosity at all times.

Q: Is the glass chemically treated?

Answer: No. There is neither chemical treatment nor surface coating on the glass at all nor are there any chemical by products generated from using Aquatic Glassel products.

Q: Are screens or glass doors needed?

Answer: No. Other than for child’s safety and curiosity there is no obvious reason to keep any screens on the fireplace unless your décor presents a need. There is no popping or risk of burning ash from the product as risk to your home.

Q: Will the glass around the burner pipe get hot?

Answer: Yes. The glass around the burner pipe is warm as one can usually place one’s hand directly on the glass next to the flame; but not within because the glass within the flame is hot. Like all products that conduct heat the longer the fireplace is on the warmer the surrounding glass will get. One remarkable product attribute is after one turns off the gas the glass cools rapidly on top yet remains warm below radiating heat for hours.

Q: Will the glass break any further when in use?

Answer: No. The Aquatic Glassel product will last literally and virtually forever when left within the fireplace. Like all glass products there is a risk of breaking pieces during transport and mishandling. When one re-installs the product after moving there may be some glass sediment or broken pieces at the bottom of your container.

Please take note that in the United States reasonable royalties can begin to accrue when a
Patent Application publishes, (as Moderustic Inc has in June of 2005 and in May of 2006) depending on the state of the patent application at the time of issuance.
Please take note that we do intend to enforce our patent rights to the furthest extent
of the law upon issuance of our patent.

We have been criticized for offering the crushed lava rock and or filler method by all of these other companies. But we understand the wants and needs of the customer, you. Spend less and get more. Some of these companies are telling the consumer to not use filler, why? They only want to fill their pockets with your money and we want you to save money. We know we have devastated these companies with our filler saving methods but it is with the best intentions for the consumer in mind. We have refused to sell to these individuals and companies because of their business practices. So please understand their intentions when they want you to purchase more glass. We take pride in our new product and take Patent Infringement very seriously! There are several companies who have copied our product and or process and they will be in for a surprise when our patent number becomes available to the public and they will find their business in ruin. If you are a previous or new customer and would like to add your comments on these companies or your experience, we will post a testimonial page for these to be read by the public. If you would like to post just your comments, they are welcome as well. Again, we work for the consumer and not the competition.



Moderustic Return Policy


Moderustic Inc Return Policy and Legal Notices
•    Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase with exceptions only by management.
•    Returned products must be unused and/ or unmixed.
•    Returned products must be packaged well to avoid damage in transit, OR YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE.
•    Returned products that are damaged in transit will not be able to be refunded.
•    Refunds will be made towards product cost only.
•    Refunds will not be given for non-product labor costs (consulting fees, installation fees, labor, shipping etc.)
•    Restock fees may apply depending on which items are being returned. (10% to 70%)
•    Refunds are processed after customer’s review and acceptance of refunded amount.
•    Refunds take approximately 1 week for processing less any customer delays.
•    Any return must have a return authorization in writing by the management and this will be noted.
•    There are no returns or refunds on any custom metal products what so ever!
•    We are not responsible for local codes and or if any of our products are or are not approved. Please check with your local building department or governing agencies for proper approvals before purchasing. Custom built or designed items are not returnable for any reason.
•    Any Designs, Drawings, PDF Files, Ideas, Pictures, Attachments, Renderings, Facsimiles, Faxes, Blue Prints, Copies, Documents and even copy written materials once sent to Moderustic Inc, Ed Jaunzemis, Aquatic Glassel or any employee of Moderustic Inc becomes property of said company to use, distribute, copy, reproduce, manipulate, recreate, modify, advertise, promote, lay claim to and or use in our discretion as we need.  If you do not agree with these terms then please do not send us anything. Our intentions are to create for you the "Customer" and it is our vast collection of material that will spawn an idea for you to have us create something for you. If we should create something/ anything for you that is one of a kind, you do not own any rights to this or there idea or ideas, product or concept in any way shape or form.
•    EXPEDITED SHIPPING NOTICE
(i.e. 2/ 3-Day Select, Next Day/ 2nd Air, etc.):
If UPS/ FedEx fails to deliver your packages within the expedited delivery time frame you have chosen, they can or will refund a PORTION of the delivery charges.  We will pass 100% of the UPS/ FedEx refund back to you.  The amount refunded is determined by UPS/ FedEx and will be less than the original expedited shipping charge that you originally paid. This is due to surcharges and fuel charges. We do not determine what will be credited back.
