Fire Glass Fireplace and Fire Pit Pictures.

Here is a BEFORE shot of an ugly log fireplace.

And here's the AFTER shot using our beautiful fire glass! Thanks to Jay Arthur for sending us his photos.  Jay used Starfire and 2 lbs of Gold as a Topper. Great job Jay!

Here is an example of a custom poolside outdoor fire pit using Azurlite glass fire.

Here is an example of a fire glass fireplace using Bronze Reflective and Black Reflective over a base of Bronze.

Here's 2 pictures of a modern fireplace using a Clear base with 1 lb Clear Pyrite as a Topper. This fireplace was also a self install with 2" of lava rock as a base.

 

This was a really unique outdoor job in Colorado using 3 ground cover effects.  The glass fire pits are using Azurlite and Gray

A Step by Step Install of Fire Glass Fireplace.

These photos showcase how easy it is to install a glass and fire fireplace.  The installation utilizes our 2" method which saves you 1/3 the cost of the glass! Don't be fooled by the antics of some installers.   

After the fireplace has been cleaned and is now ready for paint. We have installed the burner which is as easy as hooking up a garden hose.

This is a little hard to see but we have 2" of crushed lava rock under the pan burner which is actually your new base.

We now have pulled the burner to the top surface and covered the lava rock with sand to expose the burner. We then adjusted the flame pattern by turning the burners to obtain our flame direction.

Here is the finished custom fireplace design using Blue Green Reflective. And who would know that there is a 2" base of filler underneath?

Here are the 2 pictures of our glass fire fireplace completed using the custom burner pan.

This modern fireplace design comes to us from Andre Silva in Red Hill.  This particular fireplace burned natural gas; so it was designed without a burner pan.  However, fireplaces that use propape will NEED a pan. 

These photos showcase Starfire fire glass and we added one of our custom made aluminum frames with a special frosted glass.  

Here are 2 pictures of the same fireplace that reveal when it  really comes to life - during the evening  with the glow of the Fire Glass.  

This  clean burning modern fireplace with Starfire comes to us from John & Linda Mors in Ventura, Ca.

Here is an awesome picture from  of a 14" x 21" burner pan.  Installed by Bruce Dizigns. (Email to" Bruce " Ed@Moderustic.com) from  Palm Springs, CA.      The burner pans we created to spread the flames all throughout the fireplace.

NOW For Some Fire and Glass Outdoor Fire Pits! 

This brick outdoor firepit picture comes to us from Palm Springs, California.  (Installation by Bruce Dizigns Email to "Bruce" Ed@Moderustic.com)   A triple burner was installed in the base of the glass.  This Fire Pit is 2" of 1/4" Clear covered with 15 lbs of Azurlite and 15 lbs. of Ford Blue mixed only at the top surface.  

By day this fire pit is simple and decorative.

 

But by Night, check out how awesome this fire glass looks!   Making this bakyard fire pit clearly the focal point during evening gatherings.   

Here's a real cool fire and glass outdoor fire table for the MTV house in San Diego we created.

 

Here is a real good example of how to convert that old outdoor brick fire pit into a, modern yet rustic, fire and glass pit.

Some More Step by Step installs of Fire and Glass Fireplaces.  Convert Your Old Natural Gas Fireplace.

Step 1 -  Clean out your old fireplace with a steel brush.

Step 2 - Paint the fireplace walls with high-heat paint otherwise known as stove paint.

Step 3 - Then add some beautiful glassfire like Starfire topped with Bronze

Step 4 - And finished!

Here are some more fireplace installation.   This is how it looked when we arrived

Then we installed our burner and tested the draft of the flame

Then we poured some lava rock and pulled the burner to the top.

We then added some Ford Blue with Ford Blue Reflective fire glass

And thats it!  Light your new fire and glass fireplace and enjoy.

used 2 lbs of each color (Multi Mix), very colorful under fire and by daylight.

The 5 fireplace pictures below are on a 32" fireplace with our manifold/ pan below the surface. After the pan, it took only 35 lbs of Bronze glass and 5 lbs of Starfire as a Topping

Very nice flame pattern!

add a little Orange Topping, over 1/2" Starfire and you're done.

Below is 1/4" Starfire with only Red Toppings. Purple fire glass was added later.
