This fire pit was build for a wedding venue in New Jersey. An indoor fire pit.
An aluminum skin all around with a 1" lip at the base to stack stone to cover the exterior walls. This type of fire pit is considered a CHATTEL and not a CHATTEL REAL structure.
The difference is a 'Chattel' fixture is not attached, it is movable/ portable. A Chattel Real is affixed to the property and is not movable.
We teach/ recommend constructive construction, try moving a concrete fire pit. You will need a sledge hammer or tank. Most of the fire features we build are movable.
The bent door is simply attached with magnets. Just remove the door to adjust the flame height.
The ignition is an IPI (intermittent pilot ignition)(spark to pilot ignition). There is no pilot until you turn it on, when you turn it off, the pilot goes off as well.
