| Fireplace Surrounds
We will be posting pictures of our newest product, Fireplace Surrounds in the next few days. These have been long time in the making and now we will offer them to the public.

This was the first surround of many to come.
Fireplace on Red Hill, Andre Silva, just a nice fire, no pan.

This is the same fireplace as above, but we changed it to Starfire and added an aluminum frame with a special glass.

Again the same fireplace by evening.

By late evening with the glow of the new glass.

The fireplace above is a nice fireplace with starfire and below we added a new frame

The pictures below are of 3 condos in Long Beach California. This is how they started and now how they look today. More captions to follow.

The fireplace below has starfire and then black was added after the fireplace surround was installed.

The fireplace below has an aluminum surround and starfire in Palm Springs.

The pictures below we will be showing how to do a 3" install (all glass), a surround painted black and a triple burner with ice and starfire.

Above and below are a typical of what most fireplaces look like (yuk)1

Above and below with a triple burner, some cleaning and a little bit of paint.

Above and below we installed an aluminum surround painted black. Only starfire is installed for now.

It's hard to see but we did install Ice on top of the starfire. If you noticed we had to pile a small mound in the front to cover the massive pipe connection. Did you even notice it in the first few pictures?

With the surround it make the room. We are proud of our inventions and ideas because our customers are always pleased.

This is a new home with logs and a screen, average at best. Has anyone ever come over to your house and said" Nice Logs"? No and we are going to show you how to create a masterpiece!

The pictures below are of a typical direct vent burner.

This is a picture of the automatic starter and thermo coupler

After you have closed off the bottom of the fireplace and attached the adapter, your ready for glass!

Here we are testing the burn pattern of the double burners. Our burners have 2 rows of holes in each pipe to give you 4 rows of flames.

After pouring the glass make sure the automatic starter is just above the glass so it can work properly. You can hide it with glass all around the element and it helps if it is in a hole.

Here we installed an aluminum surround that has been painted black.

We have several more pictures of this fireplace with Ice and a few colors of toppers installed and we will have these pictures up in a few days.
We will also be posting several direct vent fireplaces to show you how easy it really is.
The fireplace below has a larger surround and starfire installed. Please note the this surround is the metal shell only without the inner frosted glass.

This is in Yorba Linda California with a stainless steel surround and clear glass.

The 6 fireplace pictures below have starfire, amber and a surround. This is in Texas and is a customer install. Very nice Rodney.

The fireplace below has a starfire base and several toppers for color:
Pink, Cobalt Blue, Fuchsia, Hyacinth, Amethyst, Pale Cobalt Blue, Aquamarine, Lilac, Steel Blue and Purple.

Now we added a surround to finish it off. If you look on the lower right there is a remote control which is hidden by the surround.

The fireplace below has a 3" layer of crushed lava, 1/4" clear base, 1/2" starfire, 3/4" starfire for the chunky look and a flush surround to finish it off. A very impressive and modern house and fireplace. From beginning to end, here we go.

We also floated the walls to level the fireplace and get it ready for the surround.
A little bit of granite on the floor

If you notice to the right there is no valve to turn it on? The plumber from a few years ago has it to the right about 5 feet, DUMMY! Lets fill the fireplace with gas before we get there and see what happens! Don't hire that plumber.

We are now going to do an extended 3/4" glass radius counter in the kitchen in front of the stove for a glass counter top.

We also bent all of the kitchen handles to contour the cabinets.

Now you can see the fireplace valve to the right.

We flush fit a surround to the wall for a final finish. This was a satin black aluminum frame with 2" of glass installed

We are capable of any size project from design to a full installation (depending on our current work load). There is nothing we can't do as we are the the first and foremost authority in our field. We never say NO! We do only what the other companies can only dream about!
Ed The surround below is a 3 sided surround with a 2" frame and 2" of glass and we will post the completed pictures in a few days. We installed this in Palm Springs California.

The pictures above are of the surround before installation. The fireplace pictures below are of the completed fireplace surround installed with clear base glass

Speaking of Palm Springs, here are a few pictures of the Village Fest we go to every Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 10:00pm year round! There are several thousand visitors every Thursday and plenty to do with over 250 vendors displaying their arts and crafts in a 12 block street fair

This is where we show our display trailer with over 500 products! Stop by and visit us. Click on the pictures above to see our trailer pictures. Ed The fireplace below is a before and after with starfire installed behind the corner surround. There will be more pictures when the back of the fireplace gets it's finishing touches.
As you can see it really needs a face lift

Now with the doors gone and the back cleaned and painted

There was about 2" of crushed lava under the starfire
After the surround was installed we finished topping the starfire off up to the top of the metal of the surround. This is another reason we use fillers, to keep the costs down.

We will post pictures of the fireplace when it is completely finished with the granite back. The
fireplace below was finished with a standoff surround. We build
brackets to support the surround 5 inches away from the fireplace. This
was installed by Bruce Rubenstein in a Hollywood night club (the Highlands) . If they ever send us pictures we will post them along with these.

In the bottom of the pictures you can see our brackets which supported the bottom and sides. The surrounds are brushed for a modern contemporary look.
The fireplace below is in Glendale Hills California. We installed starfire
as a base with about 1 lb of Ice Ice Ice on top. Then to finish it off
we installed a brass surround with bronze frosted glass. The customer
loved it! She is the CEO of Fredrick's of Hollywood! Awesome house by the way. The fireplace below is in Palm Springs California. We installed starfire as a base glass of starfire, painted the interior ivory white and installed brushed surround with clear glass edging.

Now it starts to come to life!

It just looked sooo good, we had to post all of the pictures!

Amazing flame work by night and below simple and nice to see by day. This surround has 4" sides and 3" top and bottom. Every fireplace is a little bit different as we recommend a cardboard template so you can get a preview of what it will look like before hand.

The fireplace below has a stainless steel pan
installed with a ribbon burner. The front legs of the pan are 4" round
brushed legs with our standard legs in the back. Here you can see the
different flame patterns of our ribbon burner. We then installed a
brushed aluminum surround. The first 3 pictures
are of the fireplace before we started on it. The wall was built out 8"
for the flat screen above the fireplace. The next 4 pictures are of our ribbon burner after fabrication.
Now we pour on starfire to help conceal the burner. Our ribbon burners can actually raise the flames quite a bit! This is one of our smaller 18" ribbon burners. The pan is now installed in the fireplace. Add a little fire Now we install the surround to finish this fireplace off! What we do is very simple, we listen to the customers needs and build from their imagination. The fireplace below in in Lakeland, Florida and was installed by John Addison for his customer. The fireplace has one of our propane pan burners with a remote control. We built a brushed aluminum surround with out the inner glass per the customer request. The glass that was used was a gray base glass with black and copper ruby red on top.
As you can see the fireplace was not much to look at until we added our touch.

You be the judge, We think it turned out wonderful!
