Here is what we had to work with in the beginning.

YUK! Wood burning, how is that working out for you?

Here is the pan we built for the fireplace. The surround had a 6" face frame and the fireplace was 8" deep.
So we made 14" legs, simple. The pan also had an electronic ignition installed.

This was burning on low.

This is burning on high.

On the lower right you can see the housing for the battery operated ignition

Burning on high and the door is open to the battery operated ignition.

There next few pictures are of the mock up we send to the customer so they could see what we had actually constructed.

With Starfire Base Glass

On medium flame

The two choices were Black Base Glass and Super Black Base Glass

The pan was installed

Testing the flame on high.

The pan and frame were now installed. Now we are ready for the glass.

Testing on low

The glass was added and burning on medium.

The fireplace turned out very contemporary and looks just as the customers wanted it to look.
Hopefully they will send us a few evening pictures to share.
