The fire pit below has a Clear Base Glass with 1/4" Starfire Bas eGlass and 1/2" Starfire Base Glass, Yellow Amber Topper. Cobalt Blue Topper and Emerald Green Topper. The earth as the back yard and a lot of friends, wow!

The fire table below has a propane burner and is not configured correctly. That is why you will see soot (carbon monoxide) the black stuff on the glass. If you purchased a table from one of these clowns that have you connect a propane tank to a burner ring, you will have problems. We use all the proper safety valves and air mixers to insure a clean and safe burn. See our propane page. We are the only company manufacturing a propane burner that is safe and built correctly for these fire tables when you are using our glass. The glass used was Starfire Base Glass and Pale Blue Topper. Since and after the install we did supply the correct burner and it is burning clean as it should be.
As you can see after burning for about 10 minutes the soot is and will be an issue. Carbon monoxide IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU!

The fireplace below is in San Diego, California and the colors used were:
and a little bit of Ice Ice Ice Topper on top
wow!
The end pictures show that the burner was too close the wall which was an easy fix by moving the burner forward.

We use a piece of stainless steel in the front to contain the glass to cover the burners and keep the glass level.
We will be posting different ideas on fire pit covers we can build or design for your fire pit.

This fire pit is in Pasadena California. The base is Ford Blue Base Glass and V Blue Base Glass Topped with both colors in Reflective. Then we Topped it with Cobalt Blue Topper, Copper Blue Topper and Lagoon Topper. Then we made a simple tie cover to keep the pit looking great all of the time when it is not in use.

The fire pit below has a
Clear Base Glass,
Cobalt Blue Topper,
Azurlite Base Glass for one very nice fire pit and back yard!

The fire pit below is in Newport Beach California at Newport Coast Development. We replaced a hot spark ignition which did not work, with our
IPI (intermittent Pilot Ignition) electronic ignition system.  The fire pit was 18" deep and 48" across. This is what was installed:
1 =  IPI Electronic Ignition for Natural Gas connected to a 1" gas line
1300 lbs crushed lava
144 lbs Clear Base Glass for a 2" fill over the crushed lava
36" triple stainless steel burner ring
We will show you from beginning to end:
newport 1
Looked pretty nasty  when we got there
newport 2
newport 3
We started to pour the crushed lava with our electronic ignition being raised to the surface by the lava rock
newport 4
newport 5
We built a double box to protect the equipment in the fire pit as well
newport 6
The ring is now installed
newport 7
The electronics  can be accessed if ever there was a failure of the equipment and you can access it from the surface. Before the equipment was 20 inches below the surface, not a very good idea!
newport 8
Now we poured the 144 lbs of Clear Base Glass over the crushed lava
newport 9
We only did the fire pit, not the view. That came with the home. But one very impressive view!

As you have looked at all of our pictures we would like you to know we use Crystals as our Toppers and Toppings. We don't use "Recycled" glass, ever! We are actually the only company that produces Crystals for fireplace and fire pits.

We tried to get pictures of it burning, but the flames just didn't show. Look above and you can see a flicker in the daylight. Actually the flames were over 16" tall but you can't see this in daylight. The contractor will get a few night pictures when they and if they can.

Hopefully the customer will send us pictures after and during installation. We first sent these pictures for the customers approval. Here you go! The pan below belongs to Scott Spector and he finally installed the fire pit in his back yard, WOW, one really nice backyard!
